Rustbelt Almanac is an ongoing publication about the industrious people of the Rust Belt, produced by Photographer Noah Purdy and Graphic Designer Michael Artman. Proudly made in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the magazine was born out of a shared desire to document the stories of the people driving the region’s growth – both economically and culturally.
I had admired the inaugural issue, especially when the magazine appeared on my favorite design blog, so I was thrilled when Noah asked me to style a story about Drought Juice for the second issue. If you follow my food blog musings, you know fresh juice has an important place in my life. Be sure to check out the full issue.
