Do you need a stylist or an event designer, but you don’t think our personal styles align?
When styling food and props for a client, styling a wedding, or designing an interior, my focus is on the brand or individual’s tastes. I love to draw on what inspires others or what represents a brand. Although my personal style is aged, dark and rustic, I can style brands that are crisp and clean, or minimal and neutral, or bright, colorful and poppy.
This Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Shop shoot for ModCloth’s website and social media was a sunny, cheery break from my norm. It was so playful, I felt more like a kid in a candy shop than a stylist on a set.
All of the donuts, candies and beverages were real. I arrived at ModCloth’s studio armed with dozens of plain donuts and decorating tools, and then I translated ModCloth’s quirky vibes into confections, including that precarious ombré tower o’ donuts!
Whether you like bright and quirky, minimal and clean, or rustic and dark, don’t hesitate to reach out about your styling needs.
