While no two food photo shoots are the same, our shoot for Spoon restaurant had an even more unique element than most. On this particular set, journalist Larkin Page-Jacobs joined us to interview photographer Adam Milliron as part of her series “On the House.”
As part of the segment, she snapped pics of my spray-paint-stained hands (remnants of another design project!) tweezing and finessing a ragout, as well as the kits of tools that go into these jobs. Here was my recap of the interview, and now, without further ado, here are the final images from that shoot…
Spoon features a modern, American, “Farm to Table” menu driven by local and sustainable products from the Pittsburgh region. Spoon also boasts an extensive cocktail selection and a diverse wine menu designed by their own certified sommelier (who knows a thing or three about gin too!). Our job was to showcase both the bar and menu for future web features.
