I’m in awe of makers who convert a salvaged tree trunk into a beautiful object (an awe heightened by a woodshop project in college that nearly broke my spirit). Darren Myers is working on a blossoming collection of these small, intricately patterned wooden bowls. Such beautiful bowls deserve their time in front of a camera, so photographer Adam Milliron and I had fun with color blocking.
