In the Winter 2013 Issue, Table Magazine ran a feature rooted in the idea of hosting dinner parties for loved ones instead of traditional gift giving. The story divided into three dinner party levels: a Table for Two, a Table for Four, and a Table for Twelve. The idea for A Table for Two was to create a romantic, private dining experience at home.
We focused on light, delicate, clean lines with touches of color and gold. I created a loose garland and a flower arrangement in a vintage glass using dried and preserved flowers from Roxanne’s Dried Flowers. A canvas tablecloth and a white runner added subtle texture to the table, and the Ikea glass candlesticks added drama and romance.
